Young terminal patient helps others while working on her bucket list

So unfair that she has to go through so much at such a young age, but incredible that this little girl has potentially saved four lives already.

Sarah Watkin just thinks she’s having the best summer of her young life.

In the past few months, the 7-year-old has been to Disney World, driven a speedboat in cottage country, ridden a motorcycle, went to camp, deejayed at a downtown club, sipped tea at Casa Loma and on Friday, snuggled a baby lion delivered to her backyard by staff from the Bowmanville Zoo.

She has no idea what a bucket list is, or why someone might have one. After all, a list of things to do before you die should be reserved for adults facing their mortality the usual way.

But Sarah’s life is far from usual.

She looks every bit the cheerful child: pink fingernails, a T-shirt covered in pink sparkles bearing the words “be strong, be brave, be happy, be loved, be free, be honest, be a hero, be yourself.”

The only clue might be her short…
